I think I’m getting better. That might just be because I have a clear picture in my head of what these dresses will look like once they’ve come to life. I may not be the best fashion illustrator, but I have a clear vision and as long as I can look at the sketches and know what I’m sewing when it comes to that point then I have done my job.

[On a side note][I love that the bride looks skeptical]

I used a white charcoal pencil for the white in the dress and I think it turned out wonderfully. It makes me want to invest in some black paper sketch pads.

The back of this dress will soon follow. If not tonight, then tomorrow.
